FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I come in to try a class?
We love when new people are interested in joining us, and offer everyone a chance to try out a class before making a monthly commitment.

Not at all. Our coaches are prepared to teach all age levels and everyone who begins boxing starts at the beginning.

We recommend you wear work out attire and are able to provide gear to those who need it. While it is common for boxers at our gym to buy their own gloves and hand wraps, it’s not mandatory. In fact, we recommend starting off using our gear to see what fits and is comfortable before investing in your own.

Sparring is something that we offer and allow for advanced students in a very controlled environment and circumstances.  They call boxing the “Sweet Science” because while many perceive the sport to be violent, those who participate see it to be an exercise in footwork, endurance and strategy. Our workouts are first and foremost geared towards those who desire a better level of fitness and mobility.

We always recommend checking with your doctor to make sure high intensity exercise is the best thing for you. Once you are cleared or are able, YES! Come as you are and work out as you are able – more movement in life is so good for you! We have all body-types, physiques and fitness levels in our classes and you have to start somewhere.
